Do I need to book an appointment?
If you wish to try on dresses you must book an appointment with us however you can also pop in to browse our selection and one of the team will be able to help book you in! Or you can easily book your appointment through our website or contact us via our social media pages - @promreadyderby or by phone - 01332 304430.
What sample sizes do you stock?
We have a fantastic range of sample sizes in stock! From size 2 all the way up to size 20, we've got you covered. And our off-the-peg dresses come in sizes 4-20, so there's something for everyone!
Where should I park?
We have allocated parking spaces just for our customers. Look for the bays marked Prom Ready. If those spots are full, don't worry - there's a road across from our shop with plenty of space to park. Please don't park in our neighbours spaces. If you are unsure on where to park, pop in and ask a member of staff.
What if my dress needs altering?
If your dress needs any alterations, don't worry! We offer an incredible in-house alterations service for all our customers. This is a separate service to your dress appointment, and isn't needed by everyone. Our appointed seamstress will provide you with a quote for the additional cost of alterations, and advice along the way.
What if I can't make my appointment or I'm running late?
We completely understand that unexpected situations may arise, and you may need to reschedule or cancel your appointment. Simply give us a call or send us a message and we'll be more than happy to assist you. And if you happen to be running late, no need to worry, just let us know as soon as possible.
How long is my appointment?
You'll have plenty of time to try on dresses, as you'll have an hour to do so. Please note that we do not have a waiting area, so we kindly ask that you do not arrive any earlier than five minutes before your scheduled appointment time. During your appointment, you'll have your own dedicated consultant who will be available to provide recommendations and suggest styles and colours you might not have considered to find your perfect dress.
Do I need to have a specific dress style I like before my appointment?
Don't worry if you don't have a specific dress style in mind before your appointment! Trying on different styles is an exciting and fun experience. We're here to help you and find the perfect dress that will make you feel amazing!
How much do our dresses cost?
Our order-in prom dress collection is absolutely stunning, with prices ranging from £275 to £599. Our off-the-peg sale dresses are available at an incredibly low range of £150 to £399! We also offer payment plans when shopping before February and after that we do require a 50% upfront payment, so you can easily get your dream dress without worrying about the cost!
How many people can I bring with me?
We're thrilled to have your loved ones join you! You can bring up to four people for the exclusive and catwalk cubicles and up to three for the private cubicle, but please make sure that a parent/guardian is present. We want you to have the best time possible, and limiting the number of people will help you focus on your own feelings about the dress. Plus, during peak times, the shop can get busy, so having a smaller group will ensure that everyone has enough space to move around.
